Free Theater Training for Cape Residents 55 and up!
Cape Rep Theatre is proud to present the Bold Company (BoldCo) a free educational program for 55 plus Cape Cod residents wanting to learn the craft of acting through a fun and friendly rehearsal and production process. BoldCo is for those with little to no experience but lots of enthusiasm; haven’t been on stage since your high school’s 1976 production of Oklahoma? Great! Never been on stage but always dreamed of the foot lights? Now is your chance. This program is designed to open the door for non-actors into the many benefits gained from a life in the arts.
The 8-week program focuses on a rehearsal and production process culminating in a public performance. Opportunities are available for those interested in backstage work as well.

Our inaugural performance of Tiny Beautiful Things was a huge success for both audiences and company members, followed by the hilarious and heartfelt Everybody in our second session. Our 2024 session saw the company tackling Shakespeare to great success with a raucous performance of As You Like It.
