Come thaw out after the long, cold winter with this brightly comic romantic fantasy. When Jonathan and Ariel escape to his family’s summer house one cold winter day for a romantic getaway, their tryst is interrupted by his mother, Maria, already there with her lover, Francois. When Jonathan’s father, Frank, shows up with his lover, Edmund, the lid comes off: jealousy, broken hearts, and hilarity! Toss in a few musical numbers, and we’re sure to have you warmed up for Summertime in a jiffy!

Wintertime turns up the heat at Cape Rep
“Despite its coyly cool title, Charles L. Mee’s Wintertime is a sassy, Springtime romp at Brewster’s Cape Rep Theatre. A recent performance’s nearly sold-out house was alternately bursting with laughter and fully absorbed in careful consideration of intellectual discourse as Mee’s roller coaster of a romantic comedy took off on its wild ride.” – Bethany Gibbons, Barnstable Patriot
