Summary

Join Jared Hagan and Trish Larose, two of Cape Rep’s brightest stars, as they take you on a musical journey of the heart. Weaving classic and contemporary Broadway tunes, from Annie Get Your Gun to  Hamilton, with songs from the canon of popular music ranging from Joni Mitchell to Lady Gaga. Many of the songs that have made their time at Cape Rep so cherished will be included. Performances will include special guest appearances.

Starring Trish LaRose (Funny Girl, Monty Python’s Spamalot, The Rose Tattoo and this season’s Men On Boats) and Jared Hagan (La Cage Aux Folles, Avenue Q, The Drowsy Chaperone and last year’s smash hit Hairspray) directed by Cape Rep company member Richard Sullivan with musical direction and arrangements by Malcolm Granger.

Trish is an Associate Artist at Cape Rep Theatre where she has appeared in numerous productions. Favorites include: Fanny Brice in Funny Girl, Mae West in Dirty Blonde, Lady of The Lake in Monty Python’s Spamalot and Serafina Delle Rose in The Rose Tattoo. Other credits include the National Tour of Urban Cowboy, Legally Blonde at North Shore Music Theatre and her One-Woman show performed in NYC and Cape Cod. She’ll also be starring in Cape Rep’s Regional Premier of Men On Boats, playing June 22 – July 22. She attended The Boston Conservatory. Love to Alex, Maya, Mo, Alli, Kate, her cast of brothers and her mom, the strongest woman she knows.

Jared is an Associate Artist at Cape Rep Theatre where he has appeared in over 25  productions. Some of his favorites include Hairspray, La Cage Aux Folles, Failure: A Love Story, Avenue Q, Drowsy Chaperone, A Class Act, Wintertime and A Year with Frog & Toad. NYC: Two Hearts Bleed As One (Joe’s Pub). Regional: Avenue Q (GEVA), Master Class (Eventide), Streakin’ (New Provincetown Theater), Batboy, Cabaret, Hair (PTC), Floyd Collins, Closer than Ever, The Lion in Winter (Counter Productions), A Grand Night for Singing, Into the Woods, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (CCTCHJT),  ABC’s of NYC Vol. 1 & 2(CCFTA) and Talking With (TUTS). Richard Jay Sullivan – Audiences may remember him from past Cape Rep productions of The Woman In Black (The Actor/Arthur Kipps), Good People (Mike), Mack and Mabel (Mack Sennett), Eurydice (Father), A Class Act (Ed Kleban), All My Sons (Chris), Sunday in the Park with George (George), La Cage Aux Folles (Georges). As director, Born Yesterday (Cape Rep) Two Daughters (W.H.A.T.) Antigone, Man of La Mancha, Secret Garden, Big River (HJT). Off Broadway and Regional acting credits: Circle Rep, Cleveland Playhouse, Wisconsin Shakespeare Festival among others. BFA- Hofstra University; MFA- University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee PTTP. Member – AEA. Grateful for his family, Jared, Penny and Alice.

Malcolm Granger – Malcolm Granger is a multi-instrumentalist and has performed throughout the U.S. and Canada. A busy composer and arranger, his music can be heard on radio and television. He graduated from the Berklee College of Music, and has appeared with Della Reese, Bob Hope, Rebecca Parris and Dan Hicks among others.

Kate Gulden – Kate is delighted to return to Cape Rep for the 2017 season, having previously stage managed six shows from 9-Ball (2013) to Peter and the Starcatcher (2016), and assistant stage managed four. Most recently, she returned home to North Carolina and Bartlett Theatre as stage manager for Crumbs from the Table of Joy, having stage managed their inaugural production of The Glass Menagerie (2015). Kate is a graduate of Gettysburg College where she earned a BA in English and Theatre Arts. She also serves as head of public relations and managing editor for Sunset Liminal Press and their flagship literary magazine, Sunset Liminal. She loves themed baking challenges and hates describing herself.
