Summary
Led by Associate Artistic Director Maura Hanlon, the Young Company tackles the literary epic, The Odyssey, by Homer from the translation by Emily Wilson, in an adaptation that uses rich language, humor and music to bring to life the story of Odysseus and the many people and perils he meets on his journey home from war. The Young Company includes young actors ages 14 -18 eager to learn the craft of acting through an intensive rehearsal and production process. This year’s company consists of 16 young men and women whose hometowns stretch from Plymouth to Wellfleet. Join us in celebrating these talented performers as their hard work culminates in this exciting production.
Thank you to Robert & Margery Glovin and The Samuel W. and Jacob I. Brier Charitable Fund, Dan Wolf & Heidi Schuetz, and Michele Clarke for their generous support of Cape Rep’s Young Company program.
