Summary
Johnny “Rooster” Byron is charismatic local legend to the youth of Flintock, England but to local authorities he is the Pied Piper from hell; mocking social conventions, corrupting their sons and daughters and squatting illegally in the wooded outskirts of their town. It is time to evict him.
Timeless, mythic, brilliantly funny and moving, Jerusalem will stay with you long after you leave the theater. The New York Times called this award winning play “magnificent,” and “One of the most exciting new plays in ages.”
Not recommended for children.
