Summary
It’s 1980 on Venice Beach. A beautiful Greek muse comes to earth to help a young handsome, muscle-bound, sweet-tempered but not so bright artist, Sonny Malone realize his dream to open a roller disco. This raucous, funny parody of the Olivia Newton-John flop cult movie Xanadu includes the classic 80’s hits “Suddenly,” “Strange Magic,” “Evil Woman,” “Don’t Walk Away” and “I’m Alive,” and takes lethal but hilarious aim at 1980’s pop culture. Lace up your roller skates, put on some leg warmers, frosted pink lipstick, cut off jeans and muscle shirts. We’re roller-skating on Venice beach!

“… the cast keeps the show moving and makes it continuously entertaining. If you really want to get into the mood, go see it dressed like one small audience member did — in a ripped T-shirt and leggings.”
