Summary
The Kittredges are a wealthy, New York couple with children away in ivy league colleges. One evening a young man knocks on their door for help. He is wounded and claims to be the son of Sidney Poitier and a college friend of their children. They take him in. The esteemed drama critic Frank Rich called this play a “masterwork” and “an hilarious and searing panorama of urban America,” Winner of the 1993 Olivier Award for Best Play and the New York Drama Critics Circle Award.
