Summary

Maya Mouse is back in a musical re-imagining from the mind of children’s theater playwright Holly Erin McCarthy with music by Henry Buck. In this thrilling adventure, Maya along with her sidekick Lieutenant Whiskers, transforms the slightly weird and scary sounds of her sleeping house into a movie extravaganza conquering alien foes, fart monsters and tapping tarantulas.

Cast

Maya Mouse
X

Chelsey Jo Brown – is so excited to be reprising one of her favorite roles of all time. When not on stage she is eating popcorn and watching Jurassic Park with her greyhound Sirius. Her favorite airship is a Zeppelin.

Mother Mouse/Lieutenant Whiskers
X

Gracie O’Leary – Gracie is thrilled to make her Cape Rep debut as Lt. Whiskers and Mother Mouse! She studies acting at CalArts, just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Mickey Mouse in Disneyland. Her comfort movies are Sing and Sing 2, preferably watched back-to-back. While this marks her first portrayal of a mouse, since childhood, Gracie has played a fish, a lobster, a cat, a crow, and more barn animals than Old MacDonald had on his farm.

Cara Gerardi – Cara is very excited to be playing Lt. Whiskers and Mama Mouse! She loves playing tag with her dog Benson and eating all of the ice cream. One of Cara’s favorite movies growing up was Stuart Little. She adores cheese as much as any mouse out there!

Mateo Mouse/Foley Artist

Ari Lew – This is Ari’s 12th kids show at Cape Rep!   He is a huge fan of Disney, Christmas, buffets and the Drive-in.  He enjoys collecting arcade machines, VHS tapes, and cups.

Molly Mouse/Marshal Rootin/Foley Artist

Alex Murray – is so excited to be in this production of Maya Mouse! She loves building sandcastles at the beach, doing puzzles, and hanging out with her cat, Hot Dog. Blueberry pancakes are her favorite breakfast! She hopes every little mouse out there is following their dreams!

Grandpa Mouse/Bean Bandit Bill/Foley Artist

Anthony Teixeira has performed many times in the Cape Rep outdoor family shows over the past TEN years (yikes). Making silly, sweet and fun shows with my best friends — it’s my favorite part of the summer! Many thanks to my family & friends and my beagles Enzo & Benito.
